The Brief
Demolish existing Lab within a working hospital environment ensuring nil contamination to other areas. Install new services and recommission.
The results
All works were completed as per the consulting engineers brief and within the builder’s schedule. To manage contamination risk temporary filtered extraction was installed to maintain required pressure gradients for the duration of works.
Installation works included the installation of new HEPA filtration and thermo fusers, the modification of the Laminar flow hood ductwork to allow for the installation of theatre pendants, all certification, validation and resetting of required pressure gradients.
